During my first school period, we have different projects, about how you can style your hair. This project was about different ages. We all had to choose a decade, and work in groups, to create a hairstyle and a makeup-look. The group and I quickly dicided that we wanted to create a 20's look, with dress, hair, feathers, waves and hairbands. Amazing, glamorous, and only styled with water! I had a friend who was delightet to be our model for a day. She came in 8:30 in the morning, and we worked on her all day! Starting with washing her hair with both shampoo and conditiner. The picture below shows Julie with already curled hair, no makeup, and no styling what so ever. Normaly her hair is straight, and in by that time, it almost touches her shoulders. We forgot to take a 100% before picture, but I hope you'll get the idea!

After washing it, we sketched the waves in her bangs, and rolled everything else up in small snails, to give the bottom a little more volume and depth. After that we places Julie in a dryer for about an hour, while we chose what kind of clothes and makeup, she should be wearing for the shoot. And after a little bit of reseach on google, we dicided to follow the most trendy thing, by that time, and go with heavy eye-makeup, dark lips and porcelain skin. For clothes she was wearing a deep, green, formfitted dress, made of velour, with small attachments on the shoulders.

When her hair was dry, we put on hair makeup, and added the hairband before be styled the rest of the hair. Which we pinned up with hairpins, With a blowdryer and a rounded brush, we made the waves appear a little more clear and sharp, and after that we attached a hairpiece, made out of two small barrets.

You can see the final result right underneath, and even more photos of this look, in my portofolio underneath the Hair section. I hope you enjoyed!
