Yesterday I cut and dyed Kris. Kris is 27, and a very acive woman, and she wanted it the hair to be practical, and short. And she came in with a very an already short hair, even though it was 5 months since last hair cut. It was in even in the permiter, and and very "fluffy", and she wanted it more short, more sharp and very tom boy-ish. Wich it thought was great! So I start shampooing it, and then i realize I haven't a "Before"-photo.... So I'm sorry, I had to find one at facebook.
But here you can tell, it's a longer fringe, short sites and short back. Wich she would like to keep. But as long as I kept it within that tempate, and her fringe over her glases, everything was great! So in the slides underneath i put in some pictures of what "tempate" i went fore.
When we got to the coloring I was thinking in the burgondy, mahogany, brownish - purple color. you can see what I'm thinking about in the slides as well. But htat was not her plan! She wanted it very natural, and dark. And made it very clear that red and warm wasn't an option.
We agreed on the haircut, And then I started from the back. deviding the hair with the front parts and fringe clipping it up. I started cutting the back like a regular graduation, with diagonal - and mobil guideline. But it would take forever finish, so I roughly finished the regular gradutaion, and cut it even shorter using the Shares over comb - technique. The sides I barely touched. It was already cut, and falling diagonal forward, so I only corrected the fringe and the left site, and made it more sleek and sharp, She was looking straight forward under the whole cut, except when I was cutting her neck (Shares over comb). I sliced it a bit to make it the weightline more seemless, and the hear less heavy.
On the color we decided to dye the hair in a 6/75 from the kolosthon, mixed 1/1. still warm and brown, but without red. And then put in a fragment, here i used Magma 74, mixed 1/2. Wich actually is a red-ish warm tone, but she fell in love, and I got what i wanted (alomst). Of cause i started dying the fragment, wich was a small "banana" in her fringe, and then dying the rest of the hair with the 6/75. I used a 4%developer in both colors, because I only wanted it scratch a little in the surface, and not lighten too mutch. I put her in heat for 20 min. and then i washed it out, using the Fuente Moisturizing shampoo, a dye mask from Nyce called Dark Brown.
For styling I used Kite Surf from Fuente to give a little more structure and body, I also used the dry shampoo from Nyce, to give it a bit of volume and the i went over the tips, just to make them more conected.
Tools used: Blowdryer, comb, share, cape, brush and bowl.
And the final result is right underneath, in three sexy slides:
